This hike is on a Wednesday at 9:30 sharp

Vicki K will be leading this hike. Bruce Trail Map 26.                                  Hoping we can enjoy a coffee break afterwards at the Kimberley Cafe.

This hike encompasses the 3 bridges and many boardwalks completed in 2023 by the volunteers of the Beaver Valley Bruce Trail group.                          Many Thanks for their hard work starting in 2018. 

The forested trail will follow the Boyne River north of the parking lot, cross the river then head south, up and down along the escarpment. And there are Lots of ups and downs!! There are also many fern and flora species including the rare maidenhair and hart's tongue ferns.  We will also add the Uplands Meadow Side Trail.

The length is approx 5 kms and will take approx  2 hrs.

Pace will be medium.

The difficulty is rated easy to moderate  with many small to medium hills. Primarily packed trail with roots (of course).

 Bringing water, bug spray and hiking poles recommended.
