November 8 - Unbelievable, but the weather in November continues to be great for pole walking - if a bit chilly!
November 1 - A dozen Pole Walkers met for a walk on another gorgeous, warm day—unheard of for November!
The bay was calm and we could even see a few swans...
October 25 - Just seven of us walking this morning, but we had a great time. Lots of talking and laughing and enjoying the beautiful fall weather...

October 11: A small group of pole walkers met on a lovely morning at Bayview Park...
...then made a small detour to view the fish ladder!
Sept 20: A great turnout for a cloudy, cool day. We even walked our route backwards from Bayview Park.
Sept 13: A smaller group of Noric Pole Walkers made their way on the Georgian Trail to overlook Lora Bay golf course.
August 30: The Nordic Pole Walkers gave way to the runners on the path as they began their walk...
The men fell a little behind, while chatting and Pole Walking....

August 23: A large group of Pole Walkers took advantage of the lovely day around Thornbury Harbour
August 16: There was a large turn-out on a nice warm day for a tour around Thornbury Harbour.
The group paused to admire the stacked stones (rock balancing) along the edge of the beach that recently appeared.
August 9: It was a much cooler day with some wind but luckily no rain...
8 walkers braved the elements despite the absence of our treasured leader! The swan was struggling in the waves...
Aug 2: It was a cloudy day, but the biggest turn-out yet! The group met at Victoria St and walked on the Georgian Trail toward Meaford...

June 28 - Eight members of the Nordic Pole Walking group took a walk around Thornbury Harbour. Thank goodness it was a bit cooler than the last 2 weeks!

Even the birds were trying to cool off as the group "warmed-up".
As the Pole Walking Group toured around Thornbury Harbour, they noticed the goslings have really gown-up in a month...
