We kick off our season with a paddle on the Beaver River. We will meet at the parking lot by the bridge at the Beaver River Access Point #2 (Epping).

Time: The paddle will start at 10:00 am sharp. Please arrive with enough time to unload boats and prepare for the paddle.

Paddling Route: We will paddle upstream towards Kimberly from the launch for about and hour then turn around and paddle back downstream to our staring point. This is an easy paddle and will last just under 2 hours. We hope to see lots of nature along the way including a variety of birds, fish, muskrat and beaver.

Note: There are no washroom facilities at this location.

Anyone interested in renting canoes or kayaks please contact Free Spirit Tours in Heathcote. (freespirittours.ca). They can bring the boat to the starting point and ask them to pick the boat back at our starting point at 12:00 noon.

In the case of bad weather please check your e-mail by 8:00 am on the day of the outing for postponement or cancelation.
