  • Registration opens a few days before the Event. Members of the Activity Group will receive an email invitation at that time. PLEASE NOTE: Members should register individually from the email invitation addressed specifically to them by name.

This hike is on a Thursday.

Overview: This is normally a #3 hr, 12 km hike if one followed the complete loop along both sides of the Big Head River. Our hike will be in and out only and will only be 1.5 hrs. long. The hike is of low to moderate difficulty in some places. We will follow the trail (named after the Trout Hollow saw mill) along the Big Head River upstream.

Bring:  Hiking boots; poles; bug spray; water; snacks; and, the Probus

emergency contact information card.

N.B.- As always, please refrain from attending if ill or symptoms have begun to present.
