This hike is on a Wednesday at 10am.

I will lead this approx 6.5 kms hike which takes about  2 hours. Pace and difficulty will be moderate. 

As always, please ensure you have the physical ability to handle the length, difficulty and pace.

Wonderful wilderness; primarily deciduous forest. We will follow the road north to the Bruce Trail, go out on the Bruce, do some "bush whacking", then come back on the Church route of the Kolapore trails. We will periodically stop to admire the spring wildflowers, hopefully red  white Trillium, Trout lily, Jack in the pulpit, and maybe some Harts Tongue fern etc. The terrain is moderate difficulty (no big hills) but LOTS of ups and downs, with some rocky and wet/muddy areas.

Walking poles, hiking boots and water are recommended. Bug spray may be required.
