MEAFORD AREA RIDE

This ride is a hilly one! We will leave the harbour in Meaford cross over the bridge and ride along the water's edge on Bayfield St. Turn Right onto Sykes St. N. Take Sykes as it will become Hwy #26. Turn left onto 7th Side Rd.(@ the Kubota dealership). First stop turn right onto Grey Rd.#12. Left onto the 11th Line (there are 2 hills to climb) Turn right onto 10th Side Rd. Lots of rolling hills. Turn right @ the 11th Line (Sydenham Township Rd) Turn right @ the 16th Line and left onto County Rd #112. We will cross Hwy #26 on #112 turning right onto Side Rd #22 crossing the 7th Line still heading towards the water. Turn right @ the stop sign onto Lakeshore Rd. N. We will ride to the end of this quiet road and dismount from our bikes. We will walk about 10 feet onto Lakeshore Rd S. Take this to Sykes St. and turn left. Left onto Bayfield and left over the bridge back to the parking lot. It's a nice ride and for the most part pretty quiet country roads. I won't lie. There are hills to climb! The mileage is inaccurate on map my ride due to the Lakeshore Roads being disconnected. (It adds a few kms) The actual ride is approx. 34kms.

Parking at the Meaford Harbour Pavilion. From Thornbury, take Hwy #26 west to the 1st set of lights as you enter Meaford. This is St. Vincent St. Turn right. Follow St. Vincent to the water. Pavilion is straight ahead. Please be ready to ride for 9:00 AM. Hope to see you there.
