The Travel group will be of interest to
members who wish to join other Probus members and participate in group travel.
Singles have the opportunity to meet and pair up to avoid costly single
supplements. Also, friends and family are usually welcome, subject to space
availability after Probus members commit.
Groups can vary in size (from 10-30)
depending on the type of trip and the mode of travel. Various destinations,
activities and interests are considered, industry offerings researched and
compared, followed by meetings with interested members, before making a
decision about the final trip product that will be offered. All travel
arrangements comply with the rules and regulations of the travel industry in
Ontario.
Successful group trips to date include
tours to Greece, Italy ,southern areas of Africa, Ireland by coach, a Danube
River cruise, France and Egypt/Jordan.
