Each day trip will begin at 9:00 a.m.
sharp at the BVCC. Trip details are emailed out to members the week before
each trip.
Those people who will be renting should
call well in advance to ensure a canoe is available. We would advise
picking up your rental the night before if possible, and you will require an
inexpensive roof top kit to transport your canoe. The kit can be purchased
at Canadian Tire at a reasonable cost and will last your for several years.
We are planning nine trips this summer,
visiting rivers and lakes within an hour and a half’s drive from Thornbury.
Single paddlers may want to contact other
singles and share rental costs or partner with folks who have their own
canoe.
Anyone who has a problem looking for a
partner can contact a committee member.
